Welcome To Faculty of Business & Economics (FBE)
The PUC Faculty of Business and Economics strives to deliver quality education in business and economics that is attainable by, and responsive to the needs of, the people of Cambodia and the global community. FBE places special emphasis on research and application of knowledge in business, economics, and information technology.
The mission of the Faculty is to utilize its resources to become a part of the internationally recognized institution in creation, application, analysis and dissemination of knowledge, particularly in the disciplines of accounting, banking, business administration, economics, finance, information system, marketing, and tourism by producing the wide range of leaders and professionals for the 21st century through building capabilities and using integrate curriculum.
FBE program currently offers undergraduate programs conducted in English.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
Undergraduate program aims to provide general education and basic knowledge in business and economics fields. Currently, this program is composed of following specialization:
- Bachelor of Arts in Accounting
- Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance
- Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration
- Bachelor of Arts in Economics
- Bachelor of Arts in Business Information System

CAREER PROSPECTS
Graduates from B&E are equipped with knowledge and skills that are sought after by both domestic and international companies and organizations. The discipline majors prepare graduates to enter their respective industries, both private and public sectors. Possible professions such as accountant, auditor, economist, tax advisor, financial analyst or advisor, business system analyst, tourism agent or consultant, and bank, just a few, are the destination of our graduates.

Majors & Program
FALH offers programs of study leading to the undergraduate degrees of Associate of Arts (A.A., 60 credits), Bachelor of Arts (B.A., 129 credits), and the graduate degrees of Master of Arts (M.A., 45 credits) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD, 57 credits).
Undergraduate programs provide general knowledge, skills and knowledge in the major field of study, and the 21st Century skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity demanded by employers. The A.A. degree is designed for students who have graduated from high school and wish to focus on practical, employment skills. Students who complete the A.A. may apply the 60 credits towards the B.A. degree. Students who have graduated from high school and passed the National Exam, or equivalent, may enter the B.A. program directly from high school.
Master’s students should possess a bachelor’s degree and excellent academic reading and writing skills. Graduates will possess superior analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and be well-prepared to advance in their careers. The PhD is a rigorous academic program, requiring a relevant master’s degree to enter. Graduates will have expertise in their area of specialization and be capable of independent research and building the capacity of others.

Student Research
Students are warmly welcome to apply to be employed in the PIARD Data Analysis Lab. To qualify, undergraduates must be enrolled, have completed some coursework in basic social statistics and methods, have high grade points and be recommended by advisors or professors. Graduate students may qualify by being enrolled in a PUC master’s or doctorate program, have superior preparation by coursework and experience, and be recommended by advisors or professors. All applicants must show evidence of capability to master professional procedures of scientific interviewing and have good communication skills. Studies conducted by PIARD cover many of the most exciting and relevant topics of contemporary life including culture, public health, education, environment and natural resources, and technology.
